The vines for this wine were planted in 1962 and in 2019 only produced a yield of 40 hl / ha.
Careful vineyard work, consistent yield reduction, multiple selection of grapes and careful handpicking form the basis for our Riesling Kabinett, which was harvested on October 3rd with 92 °Oe and a good proportion of noble botrytis.
The further maturation took place after primary clarification by sedimentation, cooled with fermentation in stainless steel tanks for approx. 2 weeks and a yeast contact time of approx. 4 months.
The wine shows tangy aromas of vineyard peach and lime, has a powerful and mineral appearance and, at 8 to 10 ° C, is the perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood or white meat and poultry.
