The vines for this wine were planted in 1962 and produced a yield of 46 hl/ha in 2020.
Careful vineyard work, year-round pruning, yield reduction, multiple selection and careful hand-picking are the basis for our 2020 Riesling. The grapes are gently pressed after a maceration time of approx. 20 hours and clarify through sedimentation. Fermentation takes place in a chilled stainless steel tank and the wine remains on the yeast until shortly before bottling.
The wine shows tangy aromas of vineyard peach and lime, has a powerful and mineral appearance and, at 8 to 10 °C, the perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood or white meat and poultry.
