A thoroughbred Pinot Noir, as it is loved by connoisseurs who like to do without the barrique development.
The vines for this wine grow in the wine cellar Kelterwingert below the St. Anna chapel. The grapes are carefully handpicked in small quantities and fermented in traditional mash fermentation. The wine then matures in wooden casks for approx. 20 months with constant contact with the yeast.
The scent shows fruity aromas of sour cherry, clove and cedar. A wine that goes well with dark meat or game dishes and strong herbs. But it is also a perfect companion to spicy cheese platters.
A not too heavy, elegant and tangy Pinot Noir.
